The 18-hole golf course plays just less than 5,000 yards, with one par 5 for men, two for women, and five par 3s, two of which cross the river. Foster is recognized as a rewarding and fun course that is easy to walk and a challenge to the average golfer. Many players fondly remember Foster as the course where they recorded their best tournament score. The course was designed and built by George Eddy and opened for play in the spring of 1925. Foster operated as a family business until 1977 when the citizens of Tukwila purchased the course with General Obligation Bonds and Councilmatic Bonds. Foster continues to be known by its patrons as a small town community golf course, even though it is in the heart of the greater Seattle area. Facts:

Foster Golf Links From I-5 North: take exit 156 (Tukwila, West Marginal Way). Take the Tukwila exit, turn right onto Interurban Avenue and go south for .5 mile. Turn left at course entrance sign. From I-5 South: Take exit 156 (Tukwila, Interurban Avenue South), turn left onto Interurban Avenue and go south for .03 miles. Turn left at course entrance sign. From I-405 North: Take exit 1 (Tukwila, West Valley Highway), turn left onto Interurban Avenue South and go north for 1.8 miles. Turn right at course entrance sign.
