The 2012 Pac-12 Women's Swimming and Men's and Women's Diving Championships will be the first of three premiere events held at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center this spring. Come watch some of the world's top swimmers and divers compete for Pac-12 titles, February 22-25 in Federal Way. Pac-12 schools have won 12 NCAA team championships. Many of swimming's biggest stars, including Natalie Coughlin (Cal) and Rebecca Soni (USC), swam in the Pac-12 championships. For more information, please visit pac-12.org.

Admission is free on March 16 and 17, 2012 for Ride Shakedown snowboarding slopestyle competition at the Summit at Snoqualmie. Spectators will be immersed in the heart of the action, enjoying an accessible and exciting front row seat for Ride Shakedown’s unique format, which will draw forty-some international athletes and about 80 amateurs all chasing $50,000 in cash prizes. The competition includes the mastery of two distinct disciplines: the jump (Big Air) and an original rail feature unveiled only on the first day of competition.  Prizes include $20,000 for the winner of the main event.

Congratulations to the 2011 Sports Stars of the Year! The Seattle Sports Commission presents an iconic Washington tradition, the 77th Annual Sports Star of the Year, presented by ROOT SPORTS™. It is a night of sports entertainment featuring a pre-show reception where attendees mingle with special guests. The reception is followed by an award show that showcases the phenomenal athletes, coaches, executives, philanthropists, and stories of the past and present.
